i would like to address Forin or whatever your name is...
your FRIEND may have shut down the site but it's gone and that's a good thing. She was hounded enough to finally at least shut down this portion of her blog. I know you think she was doing a good thing but she was taking people's work that were trying to make money to possibly feed their family and giving it away to others. How would you like it if you were running a business and someone came in and just started giving the stuff away... just because they could.

Forin - Malina stole other people's work. Not just scraps, but people like Adobe, ULead, and other companies that make a living selling software, music, books, graphics, filters - shall I go on? The person who registered this name with blogger did so because she could because it was no longer being used. Because if someone didn't Malina would use it again to pass along things she stole. Actually, I'm thinking that YOU are Malina with another user name.
Maybe you need to stop using Babelfish or whatever online translator you're using because your English is totally unreadable. It makes no sense.

See, I knew you'd like the Spanish thieves comment, it was just about as ridiculous and inflammatory as the anti-American comments that prompted me to say it. I'm not American, but I have lived in Spain and I do speak Spanish (and French, and German, and Turkish and Norwegian). I know it's not true that all Spanish speakers are thieves. As for Robin Hood, he didn't steal luxury goods and give them to people who could very well manage on millions of equivalent freebies that are readily available without resorting to theft. But then, given the general level of ignorance and dare I say it plain idiocy being demonstrated by Forin and 'her' supporters, it doesn't surprise me that they didn't 'get' the irony in the Spanish thieves comment, or that they are crying that their stolen sweeties have been taken away.

I am so glad that the original blog was shut down. Regardless of how Malina received the material, she was giving things away that she did not have a right to. You don't take other people's work and give it away for FREE. If you didn't design it, you have no control over how it is distributed. If you want to create something and give it away as a freebie, then by all means do so... but giving away the work of others is stealing/pirating no matter which way you look at it.
I'm glad to see this place shut down myself. I cant tell you how many times I would come here just to look at what was going on. I have bought my scraps and so should everyone else. Why take whats not yours. It's wrong and I just dont understand how ppl cant see that.
I'm a little confused actually...when someone told me that this Malina was supposedly "pirating" my stuff I visited the blog...
I found my stuff alright...but all she had done was linked it..using my links AND my previews..she also didn't claim to have made it.
